Hi, in the backend it is possible to display the current category and all categories on product category pages. Since we have a lot of categories, the categories are displayed in multiple lines. In addition two questions with the request for answer.
1. is there a possibility for example to let the categories slide from left to right in one line?
2. or is it possible to display something else instead of the categories, for example a slider or a Google Map?

You can show the sub-categories as a drop-down.

Hi, we are using the Woodmart Child Theme. Is it possible to change the code regarding the page title in the child theme or is that not recommended regarding future updates? If this would not be a problem, where would the code need to be changed to display a custom Page Title?

When you add the custom code to the functions.php of the child theme, it would work even after the parent theme update. This is the correct way of theme customization.
