Pagination url of first page

The category pagination url of the first page should be improved.

When you are on a category page, the url is …/category
When switching to page 2, it is …/category/page/2

Now if you switch back to the first page, it is …/category/page/1
It would be better if it ../category without /page/1

It would also be better for google to have not 2 urls for the same page.
