Problem happening again – Product Grid not showing correct number of products

    Opening up #438500 again!

    This issue is happening again on our website, and I did a screen capture video, to show you the problem.

    We have Woodmart on 5 different websites, with each website started with different sample layouts. Three of the websites are fine, but two don’t show the count of the Product Grids correctly on desktop (one site is a duplicate of another.)

    On the existing, active website we chose to have 16 products show, and it only shows 15 per page. We tried changing it to show 20 products, then it only shows 19! Changing the count in the admin area doesn’t seem to help with this issue. This happens when just choosing one category, or when doing a search for products. It always shows one “short” of what it should be showing. This issue has been going on for a long time, and it is “off and on.” Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t and there is no reason for it to change like this.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Firstly, the WoodMart Theme and WoodMart Core plugin wasn’t updated to the latest version on your Site, so we updated that on your shared Site. The latest version of the Theme running is 7.1.4 and the Core version running is 1.0.36.

    Then we have further checked this concern and found out that the Plugin “SiteGround Optimizer” was causing the conflict on your Site in this regard.

    When we deactivated that and then checked back the Archive pages, the Products were appearing as 16 per page and were appearing fine. So, it is a third party Plugin conflict not a Theme end issue.

    And according to the Envato Policy we don’t provide Support for the third party Plugin issues. You will need to contact the respective Plugin Support in this regard. They will guide you better.

    Hope you can understand our limitations in this regard.

    Thanks for the response.

    This issue has been happening for a long time….so long before, and after, any theme updates.

    Siteground is our hosting company and while their plug in might cause the problem here, we have three other websites running Woodmart on Siteground and none of them have this same issue! I do think it also has something to do with what “version” of the Woodmart theme we have loaded.

    Just for your reference, you can check our Test Site’s Shop page with the Theme Update and the Products per page is accordingly working there even after the Theme Update: https://blackpearlspro.com/woodmart_support/shop/

    Right now, it has 12 Products per page set which is showing accordingly. So, it could be a reason of the Theme Update issue on your Site and SiteGround’s Cache issue too because it certainly generates cache through which sometimes AJAX working is compromised.
