Problem with Polylang

Hello
I’ve installed polylang and i have a problema and a question.
1. The menu Categories disapperead from the left and in the position now its showning the main menu.
2. Do i have to do a seperate header for every language?

Do you recomend Polylang or any other plugin?

I tried the WPML and i payed 99 euros but the translations are not on my server and its too expensive to keep it.
Is there any other compatible?
