Set checkout phone field as required

Hi,
How can I set the phone field in the shipping and billing form as required? At the moment, it is set as optional, and I don’t know where to change it.

I have that setting selected, but for the billing phone, I don’t have any configuration in the settings list. It is still showing as optional.

Another thing… how can I validate the phone number to ensure it has exactly 9 digits?

Hello,

Set the checkout with the theme’s template, which means, remove the “Checkout” element in the Gutenberg and define the [woocommerce_checkout] shorcode to show the check page, then recheck the issue.

As for the validation, this field comes from WooComemerce and our theme cannot influence it.
