Show variation image

Dear,

I have 2 variations for a product: size and color. For the colors I use variation images, for size no images need to be selected. Price is based on size.

The problem is that the variation image of color only is shown when the size is selected as well. This is not userfriendly since you might have no idea you have to select size as well when just wanting to look at the colors. Any idea how this could be solved?

Hello,

This is the way Woocommerce works. When you create a variable product on two attributes, you need to select two attributes to see the variation.

WoodMart theme cannot change this functionality, you can try to create a variation based on one attribute.

For those interested, I did manage to solve this problem. 2 possible solutions:

1. fix for alle woocommerce sites: choose a standard form value for the variation of size. This way size is already selected and the 2nd attribute (color) switches the image immidiately

2. fix within woodmart: edit the attribute you want the image to change for (color in this case) and select “Change product image on attribute click”.
