user-iParticipantHi. I use a Products list widget in the sidebar. It either shows all the products, or only those on sale, or the recommended ones. See attached screenshot.
Is there any way to show only the products there that belong to the certain category? And not show the product, in which the widget is shown?
It is ok, if it can be reached with some other means, except for the Products list widget. I tried different filters, but no success there.Attachments:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
These are related products. Related Products is a section on some templates that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product.
These products cannot be specified in the admin, but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.
Here is the documentation how it works:

user-iParticipantPlease, specify, how is it supposed to work? I added tags to my products, I put them to their categories. I expect to see the products of the same category or of the same tag in the related products, but all the products keep showing in the related products block. Please, see the attached screenshot. It shows the product from a different category with a different tag in the sidebar. What should I change to show only the products of the same category or tag?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You can use the Theme’s Layout Builder to create Custom Layouts for the Single Product page > and in that Layout you can change or configure the elements accordingly. You can find the Layouts under the Dashboard > Layouts. You need to add the products grid or carousel widget in the single product layout and select the data source as per your requirements.
Here is the Guide to that:
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/single-product-page-builder/Further, you can read more about the Layout Builder here:

user-iParticipant– Please find the screenshot atttached. I have explained my concern on it.
– As for creating a new layout for the single product, I do not understand, how could it help. I would still use the same sidebar widgets with the same available options in them.
– Please check the page at the link I have attached. After enabling the caching plugin (WP Super Cache), the changing of products in the widget under consideration has stopped. Is it possible to enable it when using the caching plugin?Attachments:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sometimes, issues with caching plugins can be resolved by adjusting the plugin’s settings. You can try reactivating WP Super Cache and carefully reviewing its configuration options to see if there are any settings causing conflicts. Make sure it’s configured correctly for your specific setup.
If you want to continue using WP Super Cache and can’t resolve the issue on your own, consider reaching out to Plugin support for assistance. They might be able to help you troubleshoot and configure the plugin correctly.
Best Regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have checked your provided link and checked the product “Flygt 2000 submersible drainage pumps” and in this product, there are two product showing with the same category “drainage pumps”
See screenshot for better understanding:
https://ibb.co/bmqLjyXIn general, the “Related Products” section comes from WooCommerce so please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if is it our theme issue or not.
Best Regards.
