1. You are showing me the page settings which inherit the Theme settings. Navigate to the Theme Settings > General layout and configure the sidebar. Make sure you have added the widgets into Appearance > Widgets > Main Widget Area.

2. Try to upload the theme via FTP. If you have problems, make the full backup of your site and provide FTP access to the private area
