Signup form in a more visible place than a page

    I have created a basic subscription form with mailchimp and I have pasted it on a page, all ok.
    Now I paste it into HTML widget in the footer and it gives code errors.

    If I paste another form from another web client, there are no errors and if it works.

    How can I paste the form in a more visible place than a page?

    I found the basel banner Widget or in Theme Settings Promo pop up.
