sorting in the store

Sorting is there and works correctly, but the first one is “sort by default” and it sorts me alphabetically, which doesn’t suit me.

I want to make automatic sorting by novelty. How do I do this?

You can find the option to change the sorting in Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product catalog.
