    Hello,

    I have created a footer block in HTML blocks. Part of the block has a menu created in RAW HTML. I need to be able to translate this menu for the different langauges. An example of this is below:

    <ul class="inline-list main-nav-style">
     	<li><a href="#">SHOP</a></li>
     	<li><a href="#">LE BLOG</a></li>
     	<li><a href="#">PAGES</a></li>
     	<li><a href="#">LES ELEMENTS</a></li>
    </ul>

    Can you tell me how I go about translating this with WPML, so the different langauge pages have their own menu? What I have tried so far does not work.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    You need to create a separate HTML block with the translation.

    Then navigate to WPML > String Translation > Choose the admin_text_woodmart_option from the dropdown and find the title and the content block http://prntscr.com/lx5qpz

    Hello Elise,

    I have done as you say, and translated the HTML footer into my 2 other languages (so there are now 3 versions of the footer). However switching between my different languages on the site does not change the html block footer. It always remains in English.

    Also the html block is not available in WPML > String Translation (it does not appear there). Is this a problem to do with widgets and WPMLß Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

    The problem still remains after the update.
    The name of the html block is called “Footer HTML Block”. As I said, it only displays the English version on the different language pages, even though it has been translated.

    Thanks for checking directly on the site.

    Hello,

    You need to add two HTML blocks widgets and set the language in each widget http://prntscr.com/p6m8ky

    Then chose the HTML block accordingly.

    Thank you Elise,

    Sorry I did not understand that I also had to add a new footer widget for each language. Now I have done that it works perfectly 🙂
