Translation

Hi there. I have installed Loco translate. What is the process for translating when I am using your Child Theme? Do I click Loco > Themes > Woodmart or Loco > Themes > Woodmart Child?

It seems when i update theme, the translations reset.

Also, I cannot seem to change the Buy Now button text. I want it to read Donate Now. I can find the text within Loco, but it isnt changing. See screenshot, am I doing it right?

You need to create the translation for the parent theme and delete the child theme translation.

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

In order to translate the WooCommerce strings, you need to create a separate translation in Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce in the same way as shown in the video.
