Why use Instagram hashtags on products

I would like to know why I should use hashtags on my products and how to use this funktionality in the best way?

I’m simply asking because I can’t find any answers in the documentation and I want use this functionality if possible.

You can specify your custom Instagram hashtag for each product and then all photos tagged with this hashtag on the Instagram will be displayed. So, for example, your customers will mark their photos on their accounts with this tag and you will be able to show some kind of “showcase” on corresponding products.

Okay, so I need to add eg product picture to my Instagram and use the same hashtags on the product..?

Is it good for seo or just show off ?

Yes, you can do this with your products. It shouldn’t be bad for your website seo.
