Will there be a fix for the elementor upgrade which breaks the product grid?

I have tried the patch file fix as mentioned in this thread (https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/after-upgrading-elementor-products-tabs-do-not-show-in-grid/) but I either didn’t follow the minimal instructions correctly or it just hasn’t worked.
