FranjujuParticipantHi,
I’ve extended my support license because I’m stuck with a problem.
I’ve posted on september 2022 about the fact that the “add to quote” buttons generated by Yith Request a quote plugin were not appearing on my product pages. Luke Nielsen wonderfully suggested me to add two hooks (https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/yith-request-a-quote-plugin-button-not-appearing-on-single-product-page/) to my elementor builder and it worked right after that.
One issue that I did not see is that when I’m on the product category pages, the “add to quote” button is appearing and working for simple products but not for the variable products as you can see on the screenshot attached. On the left, there should be the “add to quote” button below the size selector. On the right, you can see the “add to quote” button working.
You have access to the admin but you should not touch anything as this is the live website. I’ve already tried to disable all the plugins but it did not fix my problem
Do you have any idea of any hook missing or something that can fix this problem?
Thank you very much for your help

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We just tested this on your website but see that the button appears on the variable products. Here is a screenshot https://gyazo.com/a49883dfc034f0dda9d37d4a6b1cb0bc
Could you please clarify what is wrong with that and send the exact URL where we can test this?Kind Regards

FranjujuParticipantHello,
Thank you for your quick answer.
Sorry my message missed some explanation. The “request a quote” button only is available for one specific user role. You have to connect with this user role to see the “request a quote” buttons.
What you see are the add to cart buttons (translated in French to “Ajouter au panier”). What you are looking for is “request a quote” (translated as “Ajouter au devis”).
You can connect to the specific user role using credentials attached and then go to the link attached.
Thank you ! 🙂

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
As we can see, this plugin uses hooks that are available on the single product page only. These particular hooks can’t be called inside the quick shop content which is loaded with AJAX. So this plugin is developed to work on single product pages only. We can’t fix it with custom code also. You can try to contact the plugin developer for help on this matter. Maybe they can provide you with some workaround.
Kind Regards

FranjujuParticipantHello,
Thank you for your answer.
The problem is that if it really was the problem, then why I can see the “request a quote” buttons working on simple products in my product category pages? It only doesn’t work on the variable products which is weird
I’m sorry to insist but I’m really stuck with this problem for days and I need it to work
Respectfully

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, it is how the plugin is supposed to work. It adds a button to simple products on the shop page. But he “doesn’t know” that our theme uses a custom AJAX to load variation forms for variable products too. So he didn’t add any special hooks to make it work on the variation form outside the single product page.
Kind Regards
