EcommerceParticipantThe video uploaded to our YouTube channel was classified as a Short because it is a short video. After reading the articles on the WoodMart forum, I was able to add the video correctly using the “https://youtu.be/” URL format. However, on the product page, the play button appears over the product image gallery instead of showing the YouTube preview thumbnail. Could you please fix this?
Additionally, I am attaching the most suitable settings for vertical Shorts videos. When these settings are applied, the video does not appear as a full container in the gallery section. All information has been provided in the private field.
Please make the product gallery video section more functional with specific settings for both Shorts and regular videos. The current setup does not work for Shorts videos. Additionally, when we try to resolve the issue using WooCommerce product video plugins, many of them are incompatible with your theme due to conflicts.

EcommerceParticipantAlso: In the video gallery, it appears first. I want it to appear in the second position.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sorry, this is not possible to add the product video and show it as thumbnails next to the product images thumbnails. In the product video settings, choose the video size and configure the other available options: https://ibb.co/0RF6LPbb
You can move the video to the second position in the product gallery by following these steps:
Navigate to Theme Settings > Single Product > Gallery and enable the “Main carousel with video” option. Inside the product page, add the video as the second gallery image.

EcommerceParticipantI am resending the two issues I want to ask about in a private message

EcommerceParticipantAdditionally, the option to autoplay the video is not working. Can you adjust this for short videos? Otherwise, they appear as static images, and customers don’t click on them.
In the end, we’ll have to go with this setup:
Capture an image from the video and upload it to the product gallery as a visual
Add the video link to the captured image
Does this approach seem logical to you? Why has the video implementation become so complicated?March 17, 2025 at 5:07 pm #646510
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
01. You need to enable the option autoplay from the video settings and choose the video size to “cover”: https://ibb.co/nqzYrbHQ
02. To display the full text in the video button, Try to add the below Custom CSS code to Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global CSS section:
.product-video-button.wd-action-btn.wd-style-icon-bg-text > a > span { max-width: 100% !important; }
03. Your approach is logical and commonly used when video integration is limited. By capturing an image from the video and adding the video link to it, users can still access the video while maintaining a clean product gallery layout.

EcommerceParticipantHello,
I have added the code to the general section and made the necessary settings on the product page. However, there are issues with the video autoplay function and scaling in the photo area. I am sharing the staging site and product URL in a private message. When you test the settings, you will see that there is an issue with short videos.
