I used pagespeed to analyze my website, it shows “Avoid large layout shifts 3 layout shifts found” in the desktop analyze. It shows “Media element lacking an explicit size” and “Web font loaded” problem, there is the picuture in the attachment.
I tell you the website link in the private content.
Please tell me how to fix the problem.

I know the cause, but I do not how to fix the problem.
The cause is in your woodmart theme settings-Typography-Basic, it set the font is Lato or google font, there is the picture in the attachment.
I have installed “Local Google Fonts” plugin, and use the plugin function “Load Fonts automatically”, but can not fix the problem.
Please tell me how to fix the problem.

    Hello,

Currently, I see that the issue is solved in the Insights – https://prnt.sc/KvPQ08U6zdKi

In general, make sure that you have enabled the “Swap” value for these options: https://prnt.sc/3ZRg5lTLFVcq

Additionally, this one can be enabled – https://prnt.sc/Oe3GckgU-yTh

1, The method you mentioned, which I have used, does not work and does not solve the problem.

2, The settings I made in woodmart theme settings is to change the default settings of woodmart theme, such as what you just said to change the font-display fot text fonts in theme settings-performance-fonts&Icons and Font- display for icon fonts in theme settings-performance-fonts&Icons are set to Swap, and Preload key request for woodmart-font.woff2 is set to enable. when the woodmart theme was upgraded, I modified all the settings in the woodmart theme settings. Will it revert to the original default settings?

    Hello,

The Theme Settings will be saved after the update. In any case, you can use our backup functionality for the Theme Settigns – https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-backup/

That means after woodmart theme upgrade, all my original settings will be deleted, the theme will revert to your default settings, and I need to manually go through the theme’s previous backups myself to restore my own previous settings for the theme?

After the update, Theme Settings will always be saved. The update cannot affect Theme Settings.

The update can remove customization in the Parent theme.

1, what does “The update can remove customization in the Parent theme.” mean?
2, Is your woodmart theme automatically updated? Or do I need to manually press update button to get it to update?

    Hello,

    1. It means that if you have changed something in the code of the main WoodMart theme, those changes will be lost after the update. More details about the child theme are here – https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/setup-child-theme/

    2. Yep, more details are here – https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/auto-updates/

    Kind regards
