Categories & product list

Hello,

Can this be possible? (see image)

I want a “seperate” categories list, that will not blend in with the product list.

Under the category list, i just want the normal product like my site is right now. So only to move the categories away from the products list.

You can set “Custom content” in the “Shop filters content-type”

In order to show the custom content on the shop page before the product grid, follow these steps:

1. Create HTML widget with the content: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/

2. Enable Top filters in the Theme Settings > Shop > Shop filters https://gyazo.com/3564df2a5d658a0010b6c0ebd0b537d4

3. Enable Shop filters area always opened

4. Shop filters content type should be set Custom content

5. You can choose the HTML block with the content from the Shop filters custom content drop-down.

Then set Shop products view in the Theme Settings > Shop > Product grid, you need to set “list”

Thankyou! It worked!

Only the problem: I want to show only the sub categories from the main category. Or the main categories on the “shop page”. (just like woocommerce does)

Now it shows all my categories 🙁

This custom content would show the same set of categories for all: shop page, any category page.

If you want the categories to change dynamically, you can show the categories in the shop page title.

You will have to remove this content and configure the categories in the shop page title as described here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/product-category-menu/
