Default form value is not a selected variation

I don’t know if this this is a woocommerce problem. Please see the attached examples. Is there a way to auto select the default variation?

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
