    Good afternoon!
    Why the site does not display the selected currency “Ruble”?
    For some reason, a “square” is visible.

    Respectfully,
    Vadim.

    Does not show on iPhone.

    Hello,

    The reason may be that font-family does not support the currency symbol. In order to fix this please add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS:

    body .woocommerce-Price-currencySymbol{
        font-family:Arial;
    }

    Best Regards

    Did not help.

    We’ve posted this code to the Theme Settings> Custom CSS> Custom CSS for mobile and Custom CSS for tablet.
    Is there some more:
    – Global Custom CSS,
    – Custom CSS for desktop,
    – Custom CSS for mobile landscape.
    Maybe in another field you need to place the code?

    There were squares instead of “rubles.”

    Hello,

    Please clean your browser cache and check again. I see the currency symbol clearly https://gyazo.com/fe9e876d20b08a4ec3507f9f4221195b

    In the mobile version, no! Again, squares, and all customers are watching in the mobile version.

    Phones are iPhone XS Max, iPhone X. Our customers also ask what currency, because everyone clicks on Instagram! And it’s not clear ₽ $ €.

    And one more thing: Instagram doesn’t show photos in Google Chrome and Opera browsers. Although the Instagram account is working fine.

    Hello,

    Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?

    Thank you in advance

    We need admin access, currently, we don’t have access to Theme Settings. Also, send us a screenshot where you added the code we sent you.

    I’m sorry, the user richfurs was like a store manager. Made him an administrator. Now he has full rights to administer the site.

    Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not?

    Regards

    We have established the Twenty Sistine theme. When you activate this topic, and then when you return back to the Basel theme, the settings and appearance of the site will not be lost? And when you visit the site, customers will immediately see changes in appearance and begin to resent. Can somehow do without changing the topic?

    The only problem may occur when you switch between themes in Appearance -> Themes is that widgets may lose their positions. It is a WordPress behavior and we are not able to fix this in our theme scope. Now, you need to go to Appearance -> Widgets and move all widgets to appropriate positions.
    As a workaround, you can backup your widgets configurations using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/

    We tried to change the topic. Looked on a mobile phone. Similarly, instead of “Ruble” squares are displayed. As far as we understood, Basel does not depend on the topic. Depends on WordPress. What should we do next?

    Could you please temporarily disable all plugins and switch to the default theme so we can check?

    It seems to be a well-known issue in WooCommerce with some fonts. You can try to apply the following alternative solution https://inwebpress.ru/woocommerce-vmesto-simvola-rub-kvadrat/

    Thank. An alternative solution helped. But I would like the ruble to be a symbol. We look forward to the next WordPress update.

    Now the question is different.
    Instagram is not displayed on the site. Although the instagram account is registered in the product editor.

    Instagram has changed its API and currently, it is not working on the product page. We will fix this in our next theme update.

    Good. If we update the theme, will all the settings go wrong? How to avoid this, so as not to reconfigure later.

    #153220

    No, our theme settings will remain the same after the update.

    Updated the theme from version 4.8.1 to version 5.0.0. Instagram doesn’t work anyway.

    We didn’t fix it yet. As we said, we will fix it in our next theme update. You can use AJAX method for now.
