Krasi AleksievaParticipantHi,
I updated Woodmart to it’s latest version, but now I see that I did it wrong – I didn’t read the instructions for that in Themeforest. I did it maybe a month ago when this update was released. There was no issue with the site until yesterday (Aug 12, 2020).
From yesterday I got this ERROR 520 message every time when I try do do changes in my site’s admin. After refresh the error message disappears and I can proceed with editing my website content. But after another refresh I got that error message again.
I contacted my hosting provider. They said that Woodmart theme is causing that error. They disabled all plugins and after that all the content from my site disappeared from front end. I no longer see my site. I can not activate the plugins again because I get different error for that. There is only a small part of the header and when I hover the Categories menu in the drop down i see following message: There is a critical error on the website.
Now I’m trying to use my back up to restore the site. I hope it will work. Can you please help me on how to fix that ERROR 520?
Thanks.Attachments:

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please provide us your admin and FTP access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance

Krasi AleksievaParticipantI am using Bluehost for my hosting. Do you need to log in there?
August 14, 2020 at 9:13 am #218650
Krasi AleksievaParticipantAfter I restore the content I can disable Under construction mode if you need to investigate the problem.

Krasi AleksievaParticipantPlease see the private content area
August 14, 2020 at 9:41 am #218654
Artem TemosKeymasterWe need your WordPress dashboard and server FTP access, not your Bluehost account. Otherwise, we are not able to check what is wrong.
Also, clarify the error that appears when 520 status is written. You can ask your hosting provider if you don’t know where to get it.August 14, 2020 at 11:37 am #218688

Artem TemosKeymasterNow we connected but there are no files https://prnt.sc/tzkldn
August 14, 2020 at 1:12 pm #218733
Krasi AleksievaParticipantIt might be caching the issue. My hosting said that there are files in File Manager. Could you please try to re-connect FileZilla and check?
August 14, 2020 at 1:48 pm #218742
Artem TemosKeymasterNo, it still doesn’t work and we don’t see any files
August 14, 2020 at 1:54 pm #218746
Krasi AleksievaParticipantIs it possible that the reason is because my site is broken? Can you please check again after I restore it?
August 14, 2020 at 2:07 pm #218748
Artem TemosKeymasterNo, it is not related. But anyway, if you can restore it then go ahead and we check the WordPress dashboard first.
August 14, 2020 at 2:24 pm #218756
Krasi AleksievaParticipantYes please check first the Dashboard.
I have a staging site too, that is currently disabled. I’m not sure if that matters, but anyways. I’ll let you know if I manage to restore the main site.August 14, 2020 at 2:29 pm #218761
Artem TemosKeymasterWe are not able to login with provided password now 🙂 https://gyazo.com/8ed9b9dce5a02746cd04bfab7ba68ce6
August 14, 2020 at 2:30 pm #218762
Artem TemosKeymasterAlso, please, ask your hosting to check error logs as we asked you initially. We need to understand what PHP error in our theme causes this problem.

Artem TemosKeymasterBut if it is because of SSL problem with Cloudflare then it is not related to our theme. Could you please clarify this?
August 17, 2020 at 11:48 am #219246
Krasi AleksievaParticipantHi,
Sorry about the delayed answer but it took time to restore the site from a back up. It looks like everything is working fine now. The error was cleared – it seemed like it was a cache error or at least my support team of my hosting said so. So I consider this problem as solved.
I was just wondering about the upgrade to WoodMart 5.0. theme. Currently I’m using woodmart 5.1. I just clicked “Update” button. I didn’t make any of the steps described in the docs here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/4-x-5-0-elementor-migration-guide/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/. Despite that the theme is working fine.
Should I worry about any hidden issues? Thanks.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
If you don’t see any visible problems on your website then the theme is updated without problems.
Contact us if you will have any questions.Kind Regards
