Instagram error

Hello xtemos,

We are having some problems with Instagram connection. Our websites now display this error:
“(#10) Application does not have permission for this action”

We always follow this guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-setup-instagram-api/

Repeatedly we have this with different issues.

What do you recommend to fix it again?

Please insert the site admin access into the Private content below the message area. We will take a closer look at the case.

We need permission for plugin deactivation and switching to the parent theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.

In addition, include the page URL where you use Instagram.

This problem is not caused by WoodMart, it relates to Instagram. It seems you have not configured everything properly in Instagram. Please check the settings.

This error means you have not integrated your Instagram account to your Facebook account. Please try to go through the instruction thoroughly once again and check how it works.

We have been integrating everything well. Before we didn’t have this issues, the instagram worked fine. Now all sites we have different errors. Here goes other screenshot, check the image in attachment.

You should review this problem, if not we will have to find other solution. We are having clients upset with this situation.

How can we solve this problem?

We have everything well configured… I guess that the problem comes of your side.

I asked my Marketing team, they said me that are not using two-factor identification. Unfortunalety, we can’t share the access to our Facebook and Instagram.

Try to find out the problem in another way. If not, we will use the plugin that i showed you in the previous post.

This plugin is very popular in the wordpress market. In the first time we have configured the Instagram Feed it was possible to put working.

As you showed to me your screenshot with the Instagram connected. We will try to fix it in our projects.

We use API from Instagram and the error you show means that your Facebook account did not include rights pages_read_engagement which allows downloading images to your site. Please update the theme till the recent version and check the Facebook account settings once more, check if you have enabled pages_manage_posts, pages_manage_metadata, pages_read_engagement in your application: https://monosnap.com/file/SroJQsR3ZuqTmQopKkhwiGRHGYn61R

Please provide the screen into the Private content with these settings. It would be better if you provide the Facebook account access, we will enter only the settings and will not enter your content.
