Migration

Hello. I migrated my site, and cancelled the old domain contract with my provider. All is gone from that site. The theme works in my new site, at least it works in wordpress, but my xtemos account still shows the old site under ‘domain activated.’ Will that affect anything? do I need to do something?

Just in case need more info, I did not use the plugin you had suggested to migrate, did not see it then. I used a paid backup plugin

You need to go to your account on our website and click on the “Remove” button for the activation of your previous domain.

understood. I was surprised that the theme worked on my new domain, I thought I would need to activate it. So it seems the theme does not automatically update and it does not even ‘know’ that the domain that was originally attached to is removed and it doesnt ‘know’ that it has been attached to another site. Will this cause any problems when I go live?

No, it shouldn’t cause any problems for you in the future.
