AgromoParticipantHi,
I would like to know what should be done or be enabled, so if an item goes out of stock that was already added to the Side Cart, the customer will be able to see a notification about it, then be able to remove the item(s). Thanks.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.
It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
Regards.

AgromoParticipantHi, but I don’t understand why the theme was created without this feature in the first place, especially since it came with a side cart. This shouldn’t be something special that requires customization beyond what the theme provided. This is an essential feature to have. How else will the customers know that items they’ve already added to their side carts, were no longer available for purchases? This is a common thing that I’ve noticed all the time on other websites. That once an item gets sold out while inside the side cart, a notification message, usually written in red, would indicate that the item was no longer available. Or sometimes the message would have other things along with the texts.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Such kinds of features should be provided by WooCommerce and it is not a theme territory. Stock management is totally controlled by the plugin. As far as we know, it already has a mechanism that removes the product from the shopping cart when it becomes unavailable. If it doesn’t work for you, you can contact WooCommerce for help or refer to its documentation.
Kind Regards

AgromoParticipantHi, I was taking about the “side cart”, not the actual cart page. I was told by my developer that the side cart was a theme feature and not a WooCommerce feature, so the notification alert when an item is no longer available after someone already added an item to their side cart (not cart page), should be connected to the theme. Are you saying that such “side cart” notification is a WooCommerce thing? Please see screenshot of the side cart I was referring to.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Our shopping cart sidebar is just a wrapper for the WooCommerce shopping cart widget. our theme adds additional CSS styles and move it to the off-canvas sidebar but it doesn’t influence its “business functions” like that. You can switch to the default theme and see how this widget works by default.
Kind Regards
