page templates

Hi there

Im trying to create a new page template as the standard page template shows the sidebar and I want this to be just a blank page with the header and footer and whatever i put into WPBakery. However even though i copied the page.php, renaming it to template-standard.php and commenting out the sidebar, then putting it into the root theme folder /wp-content/themes/woodmart/ it never shows up in my drop down templates on the edit page. Can someone please help me with this?

Also would this be how you would create vendor pages? using a template file?

Please, do not touch theme core files.

If you want blank page without header and footer you can choose Slider Revolution blank page.
The sidebar is set globally in the Theme Settings > General layout.

Vendor pages are not part of our theme, you will need a plugin, try Dokan plugins https://wordpress.org/plugins/dokan-lite/

does that plugin integrate with your theme? or is that another theme entirely?

we wanted to do something like airbnb where each home is actually a vendor page. something along the lines of this kind of layout for a vendor

is that possible? or again will we need that plugin?
