Related products not associated to tags

I have placed a tag to all items of the same subcategory but in the related products i get items irrespective of the tag used.

More precisely i have placed the same tag to all clothes which are trousers. This items belong to the subcategory trousers with master also selected category “Clothing”. Under clothing i have different subcategories like tops, shorts, t-shirts etc..

What i want is when i open a single product which has the tag “trousers” to display as related only products with this same tag.

This is not happening.

I have checked this is the way Woocommerce works and our theme does not influence. You can check and get convinced of the Storefront theme. Try to find a plugin that would show the product by tag.
