Size Guide in Menu does Nothing

I see the option to add a size guide in the menu creator. However, on the frontend of the website, these links do nothing and just lead back to the home page. I want to make them popup like they do on the single product page. (They work like they’re supposed to on the product page.) Am I doing something incorrect to get this to work or what’s the purpose of having the size guides in the menu that I’m missing? Thanks!

The size guide is a custom-type post that is why it is shown in the menu in the same way as HTML block, however, they are not for the menu. We do not remove these items as it requires accessive code what we try avoid.

You can find and add size gied element in the builder chart. You can try to add to HTML block and then show it as a mega menu item: here are the instruction for:
