Two Problems

Hello everyone, I have two strange problems:

1. Why is it not possible to select and link a product category when creating a menu item. It is very complicated to select an HTML block as a menu and to create product categories there. Especially if you have many categories. I’m talking about menu_categ_xxx. Products should be assigned to a menu item there. Isn’t it possible to create a simple multi-column menu?

2. How do I get rid of this? See the screenshot:

1- No, it is not necessary to use the HTML Block Menu only for the Categories Menu or any other. There are both possibilities. You can go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > there you can create a simple Mega Menu too > by just adding the Product Categories Menu Item and add further Categories Menu as Sub Item: https://snipboard.io/M3rRV2.jpg

2- Please navigate to the Dashboard > Theme Settings > Product archive > Page title > there you can find the option Categories in page title > just disable that and the Categories showing will get removed: https://snipboard.io/IFpwmd.jpg

but the first….. I dont know wether you really understand me.

I have send two screens in this mail. the first show a megamenu with 2 columns. In the necessary CSS Field I pushed the following code: multicolumn-2. But in the menu in the woodmart theme, that dont work.

Sorry to say but the multicolumn-2 class that you are using, it is not Theme defined Class. Further, there isn’t a direct option in the Menu Item at the Theme end such as Multi-Column: https://snipboard.io/hYZBEu.jpg

So, you might be using a third party Plugin on your Site as we are assuming.

To make a simple multi-level Menu under the Theme, you can add Menu Items first > then whichever Items you want to make the multi-level you just simply drag them forward a bit from the Main Menu Item.
