hkelbatParticipantSubject: WoodMart Support: 3 Production Issues — Translation (Register/Checkout) + Cart Page Redirect [License: YOUR_LICENSE_KEY]
Hello WoodMart Support Team,
I am running WoodMart on a WooCommerce store targeting the Turkish market (tr_TR locale) and have three unresolved production issues. I have exhausted standard troubleshooting steps for each. Please advise on the root cause and production-correct solution.
—
ENVIRONMENT
– WoodMart: latest version (child theme active)
– WooCommerce: latest version
– WordPress locale: tr_TR
– Page builder: Elementor
– Translation: Loco Translate (free)
– Caching: LiteSpeed Cache + Cloudflare
– Maintenance mode: LightStart plugin (currently DISABLED for testing)
– Hosting: Turhost (LiteSpeed Web Server)—
ISSUE 1 — Cart and Checkout pages redirect to “Coming Soon” page instead of actual cart/checkout
When a visitor clicks “Sepetim” (Cart) or “Ödeme” (Checkout) from the mini-cart, they are redirected to a page showing:
“Ufukta harika şeyler var — Büyük bir şey hazırlanıyor!”
(This is the LightStart coming soon page content.)This happens even when LightStart maintenance mode is DISABLED.
What I have verified:
– WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Page Setup: Cart = Sepet (ID:16), Checkout = Ödeme (ID:17) — both correctly assigned
– Sepet page (ID:16) content: contains [woocommerce_cart] shortcode — correct
– Ödeme page (ID:17) content: contains [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode — correct
– LightStart exclude list contains: /sepet/, /checkout/, /odeme/, hesabim, wc-ajax, cart, checkout, order-received, order-pay
– LightStart is currently FULLY DISABLED
– LiteSpeed Cache purged (Purge All — LSCache)
– Cloudflare Purge Everything executed
– Tested in incognito window as logged-out visitor
– Result: Still redirecting to coming soon pageMy question: Does WoodMart have its own built-in maintenance/coming soon mode that may be interfering? Is there a WoodMart-specific setting that overrides cart/checkout page routing? Where should I look to diagnose this?

ISSUE 2 — My Account page: “Register” section remains in English
The My Account page (using [woocommerce_my_account] shortcode) displays the login form correctly in Turkish, but the Register section on the right side still shows:
– Heading: “Register” (expected: “Kayıt Ol”)
– Body: “Registering for this site allows you to access your order status and history…” (full English paragraph)
– Button: “Üye Ol” (this IS correctly translated)What I have tried:
– Loco Translate: WooCommerce 99.9% translated (14,058 strings)
– Searched “Register” directly in Loco Translate — translation exists in editor
– Full cache purge (LiteSpeed + Cloudflare)
– Incognito test as logged-out visitor
– Result: Still EnglishMy question: Does WoodMart override woocommerce/templates/myaccount/form-login.php? If so, is there a WoodMart-specific translation file or method required? Should translation files be placed in the child theme’s languages/ directory?
—
ISSUE 3 — Checkout page: “Billing Details” and “Your Order” headings remain in English
On the checkout page (/odeme/), two headings remain in English:
– “Billing Details” (expected: “Fatura Bilgileri”)
– “Your Order” (expected: “Siparişiniz”)The WooCommerce Loco Translate file contains correct Turkish translations for both strings (confirmed in editor). Full cache purge did not resolve.
My question: Does WoodMart use a custom checkout template overriding WooCommerce’s default form-billing.php and review-order.php? If yes, what is the correct method to translate these strings?
—
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT (for all issues)
– The WooCommerce language file is in SYSTEM location (/wp-content/languages/plugins/woocommerce-tr_TR.po). Should I move it to CUSTOM location via Loco Translate “Change location” for update safety?
– Should any translation files be placed specifically in the WoodMart Child theme’s languages/ directory?
– Is there a WoodMart-recommended workflow for full tr_TR localization?—
Please advise on the production-correct solution for all three issues. Long-term update stability is a priority — I want to avoid translations or routing breaking after WooCommerce or WoodMart updates.
Thank you.
July 4, 2026 at 10:11 am #722976Hello,
01. Try to disable the maintenance mode in WooCommerce Settings > Site visibility > Select the live option, and check the issue.
Please refer to this screenshot: https://ibb.co/xK4WvNDJ
02. To change the text, please go to Theme Settings > My Account > Login / Register, and you can change the registration text. https://ibb.co/z57rKMV
03. Maybe you are using a Custom Checkout layout, which is built with the WoodMart WooCommerce builder. Simply go to Layouts > Edit checkout Layout > and you can change these texts into another language.
Further, you can read more about the Layout Builder here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/
Additonal Context
– Yes, you should absolutely move it. Leaving translation files in the System location (wp-content/languages/plugins/) means they will be completely overwritten every time WooCommerce or WordPress core pushes an automatic language pack update.
– Do not place translation files inside the WoodMart Child theme’s languages/ directory. There is no need to do that.
– For the translation, you can read more details here:
