Theme translations would be lost when you update the theme. That’s why we always Recommend to take a complete backup of the website before updating the theme.
Have you made the full backup of the site? If yes, restore the site from the backup, move your translations to folder wp-content/languages/themes/
Может быть вы имели ввиду,забрать файлы переводов из резервной копии,а потом после обновления темы их снова загруить?Просто с ваших слов получается мне сейчас нужно сначала загрузить файлы в папку wp-content / languages / themes / и опять обновить тему,откуда они снова пропадут:DDD
Sorry for the Misunderstanding. Let me explain again. Let’s take an example you are using English for US language on your site, and the language files are en_US.po and en_US.mo, Now rename those files as woodmart-en_US.po and woodmart-en_US.mo and place those language files under wp-content/languages/themes It will not be overridden again when ever you will update the Theme same as for other languages you are using.
Я когда делаю как вы говорите и помещаю файлы в папку /www/luxuryclothes.ru/wp-content/languages/themes/ перевод не работает,он работает только в папке /www/luxuryclothes.ru/wp-content/languages/.Еще я заметил что если я в плагине loco translate создаю перевод в паку languages/loco/themes/,то он начинает работать корректно,но при обновлении плагина опять перевод перестает работать.Я понимаю о чем вы говорите,но оно так не работает(( Файл как вы и говорили переименовываю в формат woodmart-ru_RU
If you are using Loco translate plugin then simply upload or set path of your Theme languages files as wp-content/languages/loco/themes then it will not be override or remove when ever you will update the Theme or plugin and if this is not working for you then please share your site WP Admin Login details in a private content area of this topic so that I’ll check it for you and also if possible please share the screenshot of the issue as well.
Скрины м.б позже предоставлю,да и судя по всему вы поняли проблему,что там скринить,при помещении файла в wp-content/languages/loco/themes файлов перевода,после обновления темы они не работают
АААА,спасибо,как так?я пробовал также размещать файлы,но ничего не работало,как так?Щас все просто огонь!опишите какие действия вы сделали в самом плагине loco translate пожалуйста.И еще ru_RU.po и ru_RU.mo файлы в папке /www/luxuryclothes.ru/wp-content/languages/ вы тоже оставили,наверное без них не работало?Если удалить их и оставить только файлы переводов woodmart-ru_RU в wp-content/languages/loco/themes то переводы работать не будут?
These translation files woodmart-ru_RU in wp-content/languages/loco/themes will work fine even if you delete the other files from www/luxuryclothes.ru/wp-content/languages.
I have just go to Loco >> Themes >> Woodmart >> Edit the language >> go to the Location tab >> and select the custom location for the language files which plugin automatically rename the ru_RU.po and .mo files into woodmart-ru_RU.po and .mo files.
