Footer Background Color Not Working

Hi,

When I change the background color in the footer tab of theme settings, the changes do not work on my website. I’ve tried disabling other plugins as well as custom code but it’s still not working. Could I get some help please.

You need to change the background of the sections in the HTML block as well.

Thank you for your help. I just had a couple more questions:

1. how did you get the sides to show the color? It still doesn’t show for me – which is why I did not think it was because I was using HTML Blocks
2. I took away the HTML Block but the background colour still does not work on the prefooter and copyrights section too

Hi Elise,

I changed it back to white because I was waiting for a solution from you and didn’t want to leave my footer as green. If you try and change the footer colour you will see that the changes do not take effect.

Please change the footer colour to anything else and enable “copyrights” and you will see that it does not work. Refer to the video posted here – https://gyazo.com/17983a1307fd1bf7479ef0d0aca30218

In my video you can see the footer color settings has been changed to green, the html block is disabled and the copyrights section on my site is still white

Please deactivate all the plugins except these ones:

Slider Revolution
Elementor
Woodmart Core
Contact Form 7
MailChimp for WordPress
WooCommerce
Safe SVG

If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.
