UTFNParticipantWe have updated WordPress to 5.6, updated plugins, WooComm, and Woordmart theme to current versions on our development site.
Near the footer, we are now missing some icons (see attachment). Also, the Instagram widget is not working and all social widgets appear to have issues in Firefox. (see attachment).
Please advise.
Thanks!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please remove CMB2 and Redux plugins they are no more needed: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/3-x-4-0-migration-guide/
How do you display the footer? I am checking the HTML block it does not have the elements for the footer: https://prnt.sc/xjoolz
Make sure the Instagram has been integrated correctly: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/setup-instagram-api/

UTFNParticipantHello,
Thank you for the reply.
I was using svg icons for each of the 4 blocks in the pre-footer area.(see attachment)
None of the social feeds are working in Firefox. Twitter and FB work in Chrome. (see attachment).
Am I to understand the only way to get Instagram to function now, is with API integration?
Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please edit your SVG icons: https://prnt.sc/xlz09r width should be for example:
width="50"
withoutpt
the same for the height. Please configure the Instagram via API https://prnt.sc/xlz541 here is the detailed instruction: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/setup-instagram-api/
I have checked the social icons in the header, they work in Firefox – I am taken to the pages of the social networks.
Please advise how I can reproduce the problem.
Best Regards

UTFNParticipantHello,
I am sorry, but editing SVG icon’s to 50×50 does not work. (see attached screen grab)
They still do not display anymore.
Again, they used to work fine.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to open your SVG icons file with some editor like Sublime Text or default system text editor and add width=”31″ height=”40″ attributes to your
<svg>
tag like it is shown: http://prntscr.com/m4n0qw
Then you will need to re-upload your icons in WordPress Dashboard.Remove the size from the element settings. Leave the field empty.
Best Regards
February 12, 2021 at 2:20 pm #265919
UTFNParticipantI am sorry, but your method still has no effect. Icons remain missing in the locations seen
in the screen grab (pre-footer block). Please advise.
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please try to upload this icon attached to check. Most likely SVG images are not correctly created.

UTFNParticipantI am sorry, but the svg icon you supplied is not working either.
Can you please have a look and help me resolve the problem? I am burning too
much time on this. The issue is located in HTML Blocks > Pre-footer UTFN

UTFNParticipantI discovered none of the svg icons are working any longer. There is a spot on the home page where they used to appear in the Information Boxes. Please see screen grabs.
Please, lets get to the bottom of why these icons are no longer displaying as they should.
Thank you

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please update the related plugins https://gyazo.com/f55809af41956584d13b180d0b4f7c20
Then deactivate the child theme and plugins I will check again.
Best Regards
February 25, 2021 at 4:13 pm #269288
UTFNParticipantI updated plugins.
I deactivated all plugins as you suggested and the site crashed. I had to install a database backup via phpMyAdmin to get the site back.
Next, I deactivated plugins one by one and checked to see if SVG icons were working again, but they did not.
Can you please investigate further?
Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
It seems that
file_get_contents
function for URLs is disabled on your server. You need to contact your provider and ask to enable this option.Best Regards
February 26, 2021 at 3:11 pm #269565
UTFNParticipantHello,
Finally! That worked!
In my case, I had to toggle on: allow_url_fopen in WHM>>Software>>MultiPHP INI Manager
Thank you!

UTFNParticipantHello,
Due to special circumstances required by my client, we must use the Yith Wishlist plugin. It needs to appear in the header at the location indicated by the arrow in the attached screen grab.
Can you add a short code element to the Header Builder? If so, then I can place the Yith Wishlist short code.
Thank you!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate the WoodMart wishlist in the Theme Settings > Shop > Wishlist.
Then install and activate the plugin. You can add the Wishlist element in the Header builder and it would properly. Our theme is compatible with the plugin. https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/3-x-4-0-migration-guide/
Best Regards
March 9, 2021 at 3:55 pm #272166
UTFNParticipantHello,
Would it be possible to add “Print” and “Download PDF” functionality to the theme’s wishlist page? In our case, we will be using the shop in catalog mode only. It would be nice for customers to print the list and bring it to our farm.
Please let us know.
Thank you!
March 9, 2021 at 11:16 pm #272231
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Unfortunately, there is no option with the wishlist. Such modification would require complicated customization that is not covered by our support.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best RegardsMarch 9, 2021 at 11:29 pm #272239
UTFNParticipantOK, understood. So that is why we must use the Yith pro wishlist, but I still can not get it to appear as an option in the header builder. I do have the theme’s wishlist disabled as you suggested.
Please advise.
Thank you.

UTFNParticipantHello,
Again, as I said in the previous reply:
“I do have the theme’s wishlist disabled as you suggested.”
However, I can not get the Yith wishlist icon to appear at the top of the website – next to the Comapare icon – using the Header Builder.
Can you please investigate?
Thank you!
Dino

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please disable the theme Wishlist, delete the icon, then activate the plugin, then add the Wishlist element again and check, if it does not work, please update and provide your site admin access to the private areas.

UTFNParticipantI am sorry to report, the steps you suggested are not working.
Can you please have a look?
Thank you!
March 11, 2021 at 10:47 am #272693
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I am checking your site and icon in the header properly: https://gyazo.com/1586e37e922aaa051fded32eb1624b49 and https://gyazo.com/54122ae6ab0b0ae0c1f9796819b702a9

March 11, 2021 at 3:20 pm #272766
UTFNParticipantThat is a text link in the top-bar… not an icon in the header.
Please, read what I am trying so hard to tell you.
However, I can not get the Yith wishlist icon to appear at the top of the website – next to the Comapare icon – using the Header Builder.
Please, look at the screen grabs I am sending you. The Yith Wishlist icon and function need to appear in the location specified by the arrow.
Additionally, I have attached another image with text from Yith support.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Sorry for the confusion. Starting with 4.0 version, the theme supports the default features of the free version, and the Header builder does not support the Wishlist icon. You can find this information here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/3-x-4-0-migration-guide/
Please create an HTML block, add the Wishlist icon by means of Icon element /widget and assign the URL as you do it with the text. Then add the HTML block to the Header builder: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/#header_builder
Best Regards
