Mobile Menu Link

I have made a custom header which works well on desktop with a dropdown menu with the relevant categories.

However, on mobile, the dropdown is converted to a simple menu. This is okay but I am struggling to change the link from clicking the relevant category on the menu, at the moment when I click it – it takes me to the. blog page which is not ideal.

Can you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue.

If the issue still persists, then remaining the third party Plugins deactivated please take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

I have noticed when I click the menu name it also redirects incorrectly to blog page, how do I change the menu headings to redirect to relevant product category?

Right now, in fact, it is being redirected to: https://mrmobility.co.za/category/uncategorized/

How do we change this link?

I have found that you have created the menu with the wrong product category added in the menu as item: https://ibb.co/YhNC2fh

You should use the Product category as a menu item to load the correct category page or use the custom link menu item to add the HTML Block in it.

Okay, that sounds reasonable.

I’ve tried the custom link but not sure how to add html block, there’s no clear option for this in the settings. The reason for doing it this way is because I wanted a drop down mega menu as per the screenshot attached on desktop.

If I try add the category, no options come up. I’ve added a screenshot of that too.

However, I’m not sure why but the categories are not listed on my end. Please see screenshot attached.

As for your other instructions, this is how I have created the mega menu but the link when clicking on the mega menu name still takes. me to the blog page.

With regards to mobile menu, this makes a lot of sense, I will try the above

All the menus applied in the site are created in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menu. This WordPress manual provides detailed instruction on creating/editing/saving menus.

Please can you answer my question with regards to the categories not showing?

I understand what you have provided above but it does not help my issues. The links are still pointing to blog page and not the necessary category pages.

Your issue has been resolved. I have visited your site and added a new menu with categories and added it in the Mobile menu via Header builder -> edit current header -> switch to mobile menu.
Customize the categories menu as per your need.

Now the issue remains of the header menu links, on desktop view, to blog page instead of the relevant category. How can we change this please?

This also doesn’t help, unfortunately.

The menu’s itself are fine as well as the category images that drop down, the issue is that the main headings themselves have links that redirect to blog page instead of the relevant category. So, in other words, if someone does not wait for the dropdown and just clicks the main heading then they will be redirected to the blog every time

You have modified the product categories from products categories and Appearance menu. In this case your categories link is not working and some of your categories are missing. I have visited your site and edited the main menu and added the category “WHEELCHAIR” in the main menu. It is working fine.
Please add the category in the menu again.

This is a section of post categories. Go to Post > Categories and create a new category.
Go to Screen Options and check the product categories option.
