Random background image

Hi, i know this has been posted a few times to no avail. From what I’ve seen in general you request a link to the site, but clearing cache etc resolves the issue, and you don’t want it visible for a long time. From what i remember it usually occured on the site at around 7-8am every day. I seem to have found a fix for the others that are looking for solutions by adding this to either custom css for the site or the page affected:

/* Background fix */
div.main-page-wrapper{
background-image: none !important;
}
footer.footer-container.color-scheme-light{
background-image: none !important;
}

Sites that had the issue have not seen it again afterwards, so it’s worth a shot if any other solutions don’t work.

Thank you very much for choosing our theme.

There is no random backgrounds on the site. If the site has a background it is set in the Theme Settings > Styles and Colors > Background.

If the Footer has a background it should be removed in the Theme Settings > Footer.

If you still see a background, please check the row or section background and remove it from the row.

If you have any problem with a background, provide your site admin access and page URL.

Did you download the files from my link and compare it to the site? I managed to capture the broken site and sent the files so you could actually experience the issue. It was implied with my fix in the first post that i’ve found a temporary fix, but it would be great if you could take a look to see if you find any irregularities!

Please provide your site admin access and page URL. These images are added they do not go with the theme.

They were added to the media library, then for some reason it was put as a background. So yes, they don’t go with the theme. You can find several posts on the forum with the same issue, I thought I’d give some context since the support agents never arrive on time to experience the issue. I’ll try and recreate it on another page. You can just say the ticket is solved, this isn’t going anywhere…

Please check the settings in the Theme Settings > Styles and colors > Background, if you see any images, remove them, otherwise, these images would be applied to all the pages and posts depending on the settings.

Let me point out I stated “random background image” as title. We did not set this, it happens by itself. I would like to point out these posts all having the same issue, no one getting a clear answer as far as I’ve seen. I’ve sent you files to look at and I’ve told you which plugins we use. This has now happened to about 7 of our sites.
