Split: Side cart is totally empty when Elementor is active

Hello everybody, I have the same problem and it cannot be the solution to downgrade the Elementor Version. :-/ Elementor and Woocommerce recently discovered a security vulnerability and an upgrade to the latest elementor pro version 3.12.1 is essential to fix this problem. But at the same time the problem with the sidebar shopping cart occurs. I talked with the Elementor support and they told me that it is a problem with Woodmart and Elementor because they cannot find any problem with their standard theme.

So, please come back with a solution. I think some more people will have the same issue.

Please, disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us with your admin access. We will log in and check what is wrong there. You can leave only the following plugins that are required for our theme:
WoodMart core
WooCommerce
Elementor

I talked with Elementor again and they proofed that it is not an issue by them. Please have a look here: https://www.loom.com/share/4f5e2c9c5f71411d9ea44da9246e3035 They disabled all the plugins expect Elementor and WooCommerce and you can see that the sidebar shopping cart works well. 🙂

We just tested your website and see that the shopping cart widget doesn’t work with the Storefront theme as well. Here is a video https://gyazo.com/a6a28755337f82d4e16dfd99992bf5d0

So, now we have a problem. Elementor shows me that the sidebar shopping cart works without your theme (https://www.loom.com/share/4f5e2c9c5f71411d9ea44da9246e3035)
I think it is a problem with woodmart theme. If woodmart disabled everything works fine. Storefront do not work as well if woodmart theme / core plugin is active.

What can we do now?

You can test Storefront when the Woodmart is active. As for the WoodMart core plugin, it doesn’t affect this. But anyway, you can disable this plugin too and test how it works with the Storefront theme.

I do not know what you want to tell me. I cannot recreate your video: https://gyazo.com/a6a28755337f82d4e16dfd99992bf5d0 and without Woodmart everything works fine. So I think it is a problem by your theme.

I agree with juli, this is not a singular problem on one website. I read many people have the same problem. Woodmart is right now not compatible with the newest version of Elementor.

I mean you can just test it and see for youself @Artem For us users it doesn’t really matter who fixes it but if Elementor say it’s not their fault then it must be a theme problem.

Please, enable the Storefront theme and you can see that the widget in the header is empty. Once you disable Elementor PRO you will see the widget working. Let us know if you have any questions on this.
