How to create Filters specific for a category?

Hello Team,

How can I create a new filter specific for a category? For example, I have CPUs and Motherboards. I would like to have different filters for these 2 different categories.

There is an option available named as Show on Category > in that you can select your choice of Category and the Filter will then show on that specific Category page:

I cannot get it to work… When I add a new atribute to be shown in the filter for a specific category, nothing happens. Only filter BY Price is there…

Here is a more information about what I want to accomplish:

I have for example Motherboards. All of them are put in the following categories (hierarchy):

Computer Components -> Motherboards -> For Intel CPU or For AMD CPU

When you go to: Computer Components -> Motherboards
you see all Motherboards (both for Intel and for AMD CPUs)

when you go to Computer Components -> Motherboards -> For Intel CPU
you see only these motherboards for Intel CPUs

and respectively when you go to Computer Components -> Motherboards -> For AMD CPU
you see only these motherboards for AMD CPUs

I want when you go to:

Computer Components -> Motherboards

To see specific Atributes filters, as following:

For CPUs
Chipset
Supported RAM

etc

I have these atributes and I add them to the Motherboards

but I cannot make the widget work for that Category.

For my CPUs (Computer Components -> Processors) I can see the default filters (Size, Brand, Color), but for the Motherboards I can see ONLY “Filter by prices” and nothing more and I cannot add anything else as a Filter there.

Do not know why…
