    Hi,
I have a question, both technical and strategic.
I would like to use a main domain http://www.example.com to prepare several product themes, but which are to be charged via a common shopping cart, as if they were separate micro-shops with different menu items and so on, since each product category has its own product features, different explainer videos, FAQs…. is needed. I have already considered per product category to make its own installation via a subdomain, but then there is again no overarching checkout process.
Therefore my question if it is possible in the theme to show different headers and menu items for different pages (category pages)?

    Example:
    http://www.example.com/glasswalls = “MicroShop” A (menu items: myFeatures | myPrices | myService | myReferences | forPROFESSIONALS

    http://www.example.com/gardenhouse = “MicroShop” B (menu items: mySizes | myDownloads | myTutorials | forPROFESSIONALS

Under the item forPROFESSIONALS a “classic” cross-thematic store page should be displayed, with all standard menus like in the Woodmart template with categories, search filters and so on… because professionals know what they are searching for.
However, I would like to implement a kind of landing page similar micro store with its own menu navigation per product topic and that under the main domain example.com.

I hope you understand what I mean exactly and whether this idea is technically feasible at all and whether this is perhaps harmful for SEO to have different menu items on different pages.

I am looking forward to your professional support or better ideas to implement such a sales funnel concept.

    Hello,

Therefore my question if it is possible in the theme to show different headers and menu items for different pages (category pages)?

Yes, this is possible. You need to do the following:

    1. Create different headers in the Header builder: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/create-new-headers-with-header-builder/

    2. Enter the Main menu element of each header and select which menu you want to set for this header.

    3. Then create the Theme preset for each category as described here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-presets/

You need to set a different header in the Theme Settings > General.

You can set different headers for different pages in the page settings: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/options-for-pages/ and https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-set-different-header-for-specific-page/

The product categories do not have this option so you need to use the theme presets.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
