Very exited about the new 7.4 version.

Dear Woodmart developers,

We have recently tested Woodmart 7.4 beta on our staging site, and overall, the update seems to be working fine. However, we have encountered a small issue on the checkout page that we wanted to bring to your attention.

On the checkout page, the order details are being displaced under the additional information text area (screenshot). This seems to be causing a slight layout problem, and we believe it might be related to the recent update.

We understand that beta releases are subject to potential issues, and we appreciate the hard work that goes into development and testing. We wanted to provide this feedback early in the process to assist in ensuring a smooth and successful release.

Despite this minor setback, we are optimistic about the overall performance of Woodmart 7.4 beta. We are planning to continue our testing phase, incorporating various (most used) plugins to ensure compatibility and robustness.

As we progress with our testing, we’ll keep you updated on any additional observations or feedback that may arise.

I have installed the new update on the website I actively use and I have listed the problems I have experienced and your suggestions, thank you for your labor 🙂

Errors and suggestions

1. In theme settings, in Icon fonts option 2, the twitter logo has not changed.

2. In the region selector, the option to edit https://wordpress.org/plugins/hezarfen-for-woocommerce/ checkout screen with this plugin gives an error.

3. Pagespeed is not using passive listeners to improve scrolling performance /wp-content/themes/woodmart/js/scripts/scripts/scripts/menu/mobileNavigation.min.js?ver=7.4.0 gives error, decreases performance value and there are few more performance related errors.

Suggestion

1. Single product Main picture click operation
Zoom and Pan Photos popup can be made to work at the same time, it is used on most websites and is a nice functional feature 🙂

2. When admin responds to review customers, a verification badge can be added to the admin name.

3. My client account screen can be given a more professional look, I think it should be a custom user screen for Woodmart theme.

4. Alternative boot animations can be added to the custom animated installer screen.

5. The built-in WooCommerce email builder feature coming in this major update could be one of the best features of the update.

6. Email notification can be added to the customer when the product is back in stock.

7. Ability to add Product Category to widgets can be provided

As always, thanks for the great work. So this is what I have noticed so far:

– Product title is set to 2 lines (so it evens the height of products gallery) but it is not working anymore on the product carousel or grilled inside pages) but it is working fine on the shop page (you don’t see two lines, but the products do get aligned) (see picture). The css shows –title-line-height grayed out. My fix is by adding the min-height value of the max-height value.

The ability to style and modify the carousel buttons (arrows) is awesome !
