Keep plugins up to date

You need to always keep all things updated on your website. It is related to WordPress core, installed plugins, and the theme. If you update our theme but don’t do this for plugins you may face different kinds of conflicts and bugs. Luckily, there is a quick way to keep all plugins up to date. All plugins can be updated with the standard WordPress interface.

1. Backup all your website files and database
2. Update WordPress core and our theme to the latest version
3. Go to Dashboard -> Plugins
4. Check all plugins that have updates and click on “Update” from the dropdown

Premium plugins

Currently, our themes include only one premium plugin – Slider revolution. Premium plugins can be purchased separately from their developers if you want to receive their support service and auto-updates directly from them. But it is not necessary to do this and pay anything extra. We always keep all included plugins up to date. The process of updating is a bit different for them:

1. Backup all your website files and database
2. Update WordPress core and our theme to the latest version
3. Go to Space Dashboard -> Plugins 
4. Select all plugins that are not updated yet and click on “Update”
