Compare

WoodMart includes a built-in product comparison feature, so no additional comparison plugin is required. Customers can add products to a list and review their details side by side on a dedicated Compare page.

Set up the Compare page

Navigate to Dashboard -> Pages -> Add New and create a page for the comparison table.
Add the comparison table using the option available in your editor:
- Gutenberg: add a Shortcode block containing [woodmart_compare]
- Elementor: add the Compare widget
- WPBakery: add the Compare element.
Publish the page.

Enable and configure Compare

Navigate to Theme Settings -> Shop -> Compare.
Turn on Enable compare.
Use Compare page to select the page you created.
Save the Theme Settings.

Configure the comparison table

Use Select fields for compare table to choose the product information displayed in the table. Available fields include description, dimensions, weight, availability, SKU, global WooCommerce attributes, and the product brand when the brand taxonomy is available.

Empty compare text controls the message displayed when the customer has not added any products to the list.

Configure Compare buttons

After Compare is enabled, the button is displayed on standard single product pages. Enable Show button on product grid to display it in product grids and lists as well.

Save button state after adding in compare list keeps buttons visually marked when their products are already in the comparison list. For custom single product or product loop layouts, add the corresponding Add to compare button or Product compare element or block to the layout.

Compare products by category

Enable Enable compare by category to group compared products by their product categories. You can also enable Show “Compare more products” buttons to provide a link from each comparison group to its product category.

Add Compare to the header

Navigate to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Header Builder, edit the required header, and add the Compare element. Its settings let you display an icon, text, or both and control the product count label. When comparison by category is enabled, the element can also display a category dropdown.
