Upload Theme with FTP

If you encounter file size limitations with the WordPress admin method, you can install WoodMart using FTP (File Transfer Protocol).

Option 1: Using Hosting Control Panel (Easier):

1. Access your hosting control panel (cPanel, Plesk, etc.)

2. Navigate to File Manager and go to /wp-content/themes/ folder

3. Upload the woodmart.zip file to this directory

4. Extract/unzip the file using the control panel’s extract function

5. Delete the zip file after extraction (optional)

Option 2: Using FTP Client (Advanced):

  1. Download an FTP client like FileZilla (free)
  2. Connect to your server using FTP credentials from your hosting provider
  3. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ directory
  4. Extract woodmart.zip on your computer first, then upload the unzipped woodmart folder
  5. Upload the folder to the themes directory
