Upload and use custom fonts

You can upload a self-hosted font and use it in the theme typography settings. WoodMart requires both .woff2 and .woff files for each font weight you want to use.

Prepare the font files

If your font is supplied in another format, use the CloudConvert Font Converter to create the required files. Select the source font, choose WOFF2 as the output format, convert and download it, and then repeat the process with WOFF.

Make sure the font license permits conversion and self-hosting.

Upload a custom font

1. Navigate to Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Typography -> Custom fonts.

2. Click Add font and enter a recognizable font name.

3. Select the appropriate Font weight, then upload or select the matching .woff2 and .woff files in their respective fields.

4. Save the Theme Settings and reload the page.

Add multiple font weights

Create a separate font entry for every weight you want to use. Enter exactly the same font name in each entry, select the corresponding weight, and upload the matching files.

If a Google Font with the same name is available, use a unique local name such as Lato-local to avoid conflicts.

Apply the custom font

1. Open Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Typography.

2. Open the typography setting you want to configure and select the uploaded font from the font-family list.

3. Save the Theme Settings.
