Manual setup
If you skipped the automatic setup wizard or need to configure the theme settings manually, you can access all the same options through your WordPress dashboard.
Step 1. License activation
You can activate the theme via Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License

Step 2. Child theme
A child theme preserves your customizations when the main theme updates. This is essential for maintaining your site’s unique modifications.
- Locate the woodmart-child.zip file in your original WoodMart download package from ThemeForest (or download it here).
- Go to Appearance -> Themes -> Add New -> Upload Theme.
- Select the child theme zip file and click the “Install Now” button.
- Activate the child theme after installation.

Step 3. Page builder
Elementor
Make sure that Elementor is selected as the “Current builder” in Theme Settings -> Other:

Then navigate to WoodMart -> Plugins and install it.
Gutenberg
In Theme Settings -> Other, make sure that “Gutenberg” is selected as the “Current page builder”. Additionally, the “Gutenberg blocks” and “Gutenberg editor for products” should be enabled:

You need to download it via your account on our website and then install it via Appearance -> Plugins:

Step 4. Install theme plugins

- Navigate to WoodMart -> Plugins in your WordPress dashboard. You’ll see a list of available plugins.
- Check all the plugins you want (required plugins are important for the theme to work).
- Choose to install and click the “Install” button.
- Wait until all plugins are installed and activated.
Step 5. WooCommerce setup
Install and configure WooCommerce to enable e-commerce functionality on your WoodMart website.
Installation
- Go to Plugins -> Add New in your WordPress dashboard
- Search for “WooCommerce” and install the official plugin
- Activate the plugin once installation is complete

After activation, WooCommerce will automatically launch its setup wizard to guide you through the essential store configuration:
- Store location and currency settings
- Payment method setup (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
- Shipping options and rates
- Tax configuration
- Basic store information

Step 6. Prebuilt websites import
After installing the theme and required plugins, you’ll find new WoodMart and Theme Settings tabs in your WordPress dashboard. These contain all the tools you need to customize your website.
Importing demo content:
- Go to WoodMart -> Prebuilt Websites in your WordPress dashboard
- Browse available demo websites by category or business type
- Click “Import” on your chosen demo to install the complete website
- Switch to the “Additional pages” tab to import individual pages instead of full websites
