Plugin support policy
WoodMart is developed following WordPress and WooCommerce coding standards to ensure maximum compatibility with the vast majority of third-party plugins available in the WordPress ecosystem. However, it is important to understand the scope and limits of our plugin support.
General compatibility
Our goal is to ensure stable operation for plugins that follow WordPress development best practices and do not override core WooCommerce or theme functionality.
Please note that we cannot guarantee full compatibility with every third-party plugin on the market, as each plugin has its own structure, update cycle, and quality of code implementation.
Plugins with advanced support
Some plugins receive extended or “advanced” support from our development team. This means that WoodMart includes built-in integrations, custom styling, or additional options to improve appearance and performance when these plugins are active.
Full list of plugins with advanced support includes:
It is essential to note that the list above represents only those plugins for which we have added specific, manual integrations or custom styling. It does not define the limits of what works with WoodMart. In fact, thousands of other plugins function perfectly “out-of-the-box” because our theme strictly adheres to standard WordPress and WooCommerce coding protocols.
Plugins not compatible with WoodMart
A limited number of plugins may conflict with features already integrated into WoodMart. Such conflicts usually occur when a third-party plugin attempts to provide functionality that duplicates or overrides the theme’s built-in options, scripts, or design framework.
Examples of non-compatible plugins include:
- Plugins that replace or modify the theme’s AJAX filters.
- Plugins that alter or duplicate product swatches, wishlist, or compare functionality.
- Page builders or layout systems that are not based on Gutenberg, Elementor or WPBakery.
If you experience an issue that appears to be caused by a plugin conflict, we recommend disabling non-essential plugins and testing your site with only WooCommerce and WoodMart active.
Our support team can assist in identifying whether the issue is related to theme compatibility or a third-party modification.
Need Help with a Specific Plugin?
Our goal is to make WoodMart the most compatible theme on the market. If you encounter an issue with a third-party plugin or find that a specific extension isn’t working as expected, we want to hear about it. Our development team is constantly working to expand our compatibility list and resolve conflicts.
If you face any challenges, please reach out to our Support Forum. We will do our best to investigate the issue and improve the theme’s compatibility whenever possible to ensure your project runs smoothly.
